Indium metal is found in solid state at room temperature, its melting point is 156.6 °C (313.88 °F) and its boiling point is 2072 °C (3762 °F).


    Indium metal was discovered by German chemists Ferdinand Reich and Hieronymus Theodor Richter in 1863.
